  1. Out of the 3 Constructors you have in that loadout, Syd is the worst option for the Commander slot as far as the commander is concerned, on the basis that

    + KO is impact based
    + Crits double impact done (resulting in more KO)
    + Higher ‘damage’ results in more damage done (resulting in faster kills)

     

    With Syd, your KO’s will hit harder, but you’ll (this is subject to weapon chosen obviously) on average hit KO’s less often and your melee damage in general will be weaker. In the past (pre 8.0) you could trigger stronger KO’s (relative to schematic level) using weaker weapons but since it is now linked to impact done it doesn’t quite scale as well.

  2. The thing is that if you intend to play with Syd as the commander, you need to focus your build to generate as much impact as possible since your main source of damage should be kinetic overload.

    Based on that information, for your weapon you’re looking for impact, attack speed and critical rate mainly (some armor is always welcome if you want to survive).

    The more I look at your build, the more I feel like it would be much more efficient to swap your commander perk with hardware crit rating perk or actuated attacks perk.

    You can play however you want of course, just putting my thoughts.
